Below are some events and other items that may be of interest to you that are going on in our community.


Green Gardening and Green Living workshops at the Utility Exploration Center

The Utility Exploration Center offers low-cost, fun, information-packed classes for all ages, including green gardening classes on the first and third Saturday of every month. To get a free class catalog, you can:

  • Stop by the Center at 1501 Pleasant Grove in Roseville
  • Call 746-1550 to request that we mail one.

Free pharmaceutical drop-off event in Roseville

Roseville Police Department and Environmental Utilities will be teaming up to collect unused and expired pharmaceuticals on Saturday, September 26, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Roseville Sports Center parking lot located at 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. in Roseville.

All pharmaceuticals will be accepted.  No syringes or lancets please.

A second collection location will be set up at the Auburn City Hall parking lot located at 1225 Lincoln Way in Auburn.  Same date and time as the Roseville event.

 



Mark your calendars! Free electronic waste collection event at Whole Foods in Roseville

Sims Recycling Solutions and Whole Foods Market are partnering with the City of Roseville for a free electronic waste collection to benefit the Utility Exploration Center.

When:  October 3, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Where:  Whole Foods Market 1001 Galleria Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678

RCONA Stanford Association had its first neighborhood association meeting on November 13th, 2008.  Several residents in the Stanford Neighborhood put together a temporary board and began working with RCONA and the city of Roseville to establish a Neighborhood Association.  On January 22, 2009, the Board was officially elected and the Neighborhood Association was established.
